I got bored and drew a really skinny Deadpool instead of sleeping. Boop.

At first I was like ‘who teh fuck is that’ and then I realised it’s the Jon Snow dude.
I guess now would be a good time to confess that I was actually trying to paint him when I did this and then it didn’t turn out like him so I named it something else. >__>

The Blacksmith

I’m doing a lot of traditional art lately..

I gave my hand a pencil and it did a thing.

So whenever I see people’s ideas for ‘an original Zelda game’ it always seems to be just Link genderbent or Zelda saving Link, which are ideas I don’t personally like very much. I mean I’m all up for equalism and all that stuff, but just turning Link into a girl doesn’t really feel that imaginative. So I started thinking about what I would think of if proposed with the task of coming up with an original Zelda plot line, and this is it.

I’ve always really liked Malon, and I’ve always viewed her as quite a strong character. I think if a game was made based around her (perhaps she has to defend Hyrule whilst Link is galavanting around in ‘Majora’s Mask’), it would be pretty cool! She has a lot of openings for unique weapons, e.g the pitchfork and sickles (noted in the sketches) as well as a strong, fiery personality to boot. She’s used to using her strength, and she basically has the potential to become a hero (but still have growth). She’s not too different, and she’s not too samey. Personally I think this would be a pretty fun idea, and whilst not an actual Zelda plot probably a fun spin-off one. Either way I think I may develop this for fun in the future.
